Scott Stebner, M.S.

Scott Stebner served as the Center’s first managing director from 2015-2016. Stebner is a seasoned social media marketer, small business owner, and experienced educator from San Diego, California. He received hscott stebneris bachelor’s in agricultural education and secondary teaching credential from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and his master’s in agricultural communications from Kansas State University.

Stebner conducted research that explored how rural businesses can use social media to develop profitable relationships with customers. While serving as the first managing director of the Center for Rural Enterprise Engagement, Stebner spearheaded branding efforts, the development of online resources, in-person workshops, prescriptive analytics, and client outreach.

He’s an avid photographer and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

The Center enjoyed having Scott Stebner serve as managing director, and we are excited for him as he follows a new “and then” for his family.
